California State Railroad Museum Foundation

For years, the California Railroad Museum Foundation used the same logo as the California State Railroad Museum. However, as the Foundation expanded, so did the need for a unique brand identity that better represents its mission of preserving, promoting, and funding the rich history of railroads for future generations.

This new identity strikes an ideal balance between heritage and innovation. It honors the past with thoughtful references to rail history while embracing a modern, forward-thinking design that ensures the brand will remain relevant and impactful for years to come.

This rebranding effort included a new website, a new members magazine called β€œOn Track,” internal signage and museum store bags, print ads, brochures, lamp post banners, and outdoor advertising.
